The collaboration with Rugby Forlì 1979 began in 2022, with the aim of supporting the senior team through yoga, offering adapted poses tailored to the needs and abilities of the team and each player.
By observing their training sessions and matches, I noticed that the players were experiencing the same issues and injuries. What they had in common was often muscular stiffness and a lack of mobility, something frequently seen in contact sports that prioritize strength training and tactical development, while overlooking the importance of mobility and flexibility.
With the players’ input, we designed a program aimed at improving on-field performance, enhancing recovery time, and reducing the recurrence of injuries caused by stiffness.
The program involves adapting yoga poses, focusing on muscle stretching, mobility recovery, flexibility, and isometric strengthening, based on the needs and abilities of the team and each player.
Even rugby players need softness.

It was the most unexpected collaboration, but also the one that gave me the greatest sense of fulfillment.
From a collaboration that almost didn´t make sense to exist, Magic was born
Over the years, I built a strong bond with the players, almost considering them a second family.
This allowed us to work closely together, adapting the program and growing side by side beyond my expectations.

From the weekly classes
Aimed at relieving post-match pain and improving the players’ flexibility and mobility.

To retreats and Workshops
The more we worked together, the more the players noticed the benefits of the practice, and the more willing they were to join me in other initiatives.
This led us to start integrating stretching into the annual training camp schedule, and gradually expand it with workshops specifically designed to address any needs we identified.

Even taking part in events
We were invited by Fabbrica delle Candele in Forlì to share our experience in supporting families affected by the May 2023 floods.
